'Game of Thrones' Season 4 Spoilers: Actor Speaks About Purple Wedding, 'It was Fun but Stressful'

Last Sunday's shocking episode of hit HBO series "Game of Thrones" left fans with mixed emotions. If you have not yet watched this week's episode, be warned this article contains spoilers. A major character, King Joffrey was killed off. While it's always strange to see a character who was so intregal to the show killed off, it's also hard to be sorry that such an evil and heartless met his fate. Jack Gleeson plays, or rather played, King Joffrey on "Game of Thrones" and he recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about his last moments on the show. Apparently it was a rather hard scene to shoot because the young actor has not had much experience with death in his life. Gleeson is just 21 years old.

"'I suppose it's one of those things that you have no prior experience in I've never seen anyone die. It's hard to imagine what it would be like," he explained to Entertainment Weekly.

According to the actor, it was the episode director Alex Graves who helped Gleeson master the scene.

"Alex very kindly walked me through it," Gleeson said.

Gleeson elaborated on what it was like to act in that final scene, it apparently proved quite the challenge for the young actor.

"It was fun in the end, but kind of stressful to be so focused, but acting like you're completely unfocused. Difficult, but exciting," Gleeson said.
