Kim Soo Hyun of 'My Love From the Stars' To Sing At Opening Ceremony of the Summer Youth Olympic Games 2014
Exciting news for Kim Soo Hyun's fans, as it has been confirmed that the Korean actor and singer will be the one tasked to sing the theme song for the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China.
It is a big privilege for the Korean star since he will be representing his country well with other stars from different countries, "Kim Soo Hyun was invited to perform during the opening ceremony of the Youth Olympic Games and to sing the theme song. He will be on stage with many other stars from different countries," said in the official statement released by the actor's agency through OSEN.
According to news reports, the actor is said to be scheduled to have flown out to China last August 14 to attend the opening ceremony on August 16. Hopefully the people there will still pay attention to the athletes from 204 countries which will also be in attendance and will compete for the medals in 28 different sports.
The actor seems to have more in store for him in the coming months. It has also been confirmed that he will be attending the 17th Incheon Asian Games on September 19. Kim Soo Hyun's agency, KeyEast Entertainment confirmed the news as well through OSEN last August 5.
"Kim Soo Hyun will participate in the opening ceremony of the Incheon Asian Games on September 19 in the Incheon Asiad main stadium. We're still in the stage of discussion regarding what kind of performance he will have," the agency announced.
The event which will be in Incheon, South Korea and will include other big named actors including Lee Young Ae and K-pop big names EXO, PSY, CNBLUE, BIGBANG, and the event's ambassador, JYJ. Overall direction has been reported to be done by Director Lim Kwon Taek and Director Jang Jin.
