Kim Soo Hyun From ‘My Love From the Stars’ Makes Marie Claire Cover Photo [VIDEOS]
After his smash TV drama, My Love From the Stars, Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun has posed for a series of top magazine brands in Asia including Marie Claire Taiwan and Korea.
The young actor has said that the aftermath of the hit soap opera gave him the opportunity to communicate better with his fans through various tours and projects.
Soo Hyun is now the cover of Marie Claire in Taiwan and Korea.
The 26-year-old model/actor is also the brand ambassador for the June issue of Femina China, Elle Man Hong Kong, and Me Hong Kong.
Aside from his modeling stints in Asian magazines, Soo Hyun is also the new face of international brands such as Häagen Dazs, Coca-Cola, Hyundai, Samsung, and The Face Shop.
He was recently ranked as the fourth richest South Korean celebrity by Forbes with gross earnings of $18 million in just two months riding on the success of My Love from the Stars.
Soo Hyun's recent commercial projects in China earned him an average income of somewhere between $720,000 to $1.87M per contract, which put him up there with other Korean millionaires like Psy, Girls' Generation, and Son Yeon-Jae.
He has also attracted expensive advertisements posted by fans just wanting to wish him well. One avid fan from China showed support for the actor by publishing a full-page ad in the Chosun Ilbo newspaper.
The post was published May 26 saying, "Dear Soo-hyun, love and support you forever! I wish Soo-hyun get awards on the 50th Baeksang Arts Awards. Cecilia."
