Currently, one of the biggest names in videogames comes as a surprise to many, as it's not Super Mario or Sonic the Hedgehog, but Kim Kardashian. A recently released video game based on the reality TV star has taken the smartphone game market by storm with the 'Kim Kardashian: Hollywood' game.
The game involves a customizable male or female character that words in a clothing store. The story develops when your character meets Kim Kardashian for the first time and set off on their way to stardom. Kim aids in you photo shoot debuts, costumes on the red carpet, and much more as you make your way down the road to celebrity status.
Glu Mobiles, the company that launched the game, is more than happy with the outcome of its partnership. Glu was previously best known for 'Diner Dash', a casual game series. Glu also partnered with MGM for 'Robo cop' games and a 'James Bond' title along with the Kim Kardashian game.
This game is said to be grossing over $700,000 each day. Though the game is free, users can spend real money to buy game features. Glu is also happy about the way Kim is interested in the happenings of the game, she speaks and emails every week to know and discuss the new features and updates.
If the game continues earnings like these, it will very well be in league with super popular games like 'Candy Crush'.
