Kerry Washington Baby News: 'Scandal' Actress Talks Healthy Living & Daughter Isabelle

Only months after giving birth to a baby girl, 'Scandal' actress Kerry Washington is looking fit and ready to step back into the spotlight. Additionally, the A-list celebrity talked about how she's been taking good care of baby Isabelle as well as herself.

In a recent interview the actress said, "I've always been a person who really approaches health in a proactive way. I work out, I eat right so those were the things I continued to do once the doctor said I could, but not to be crazy about it,"

On a side note, Washington is sharing the responsibility of taking care of the new baby with husband and football player Nnamdi Asomugha.

Beyond that, she also made mention that she's "breastfeeding, so I can't starve myself."

The Emmy-nominated actress also revealed that it is her priority to take care of herself for her family as well. "It's important for me to be a good mom and be a good actor and be responsible to myself and my family," she said.

The 37-year-old mom, one of the many prominent women in the showbiz industry, revealed that besides her family life, she gives it her all on the screen. "You're not worried about my life, you worried about Olivia Pope's life. And Olivia Pope's life is much more interesting than Kerry Washington's life, so I like to keep the focus there," she said.

"Also, look, for me and my work I give 150 percent, I do not hold back at all, but I feel like something has to be mine. So, with my family we got to keep each other for each other and the work belongs to everybody," she stated.
