Although 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star Kendall Jenner has been frequently seen hanging out with the ever-controversial pop star Justin Bieber, rumors suggest that the young reality star might just be dating someone else.

According to recent reports, Jenner is likely dating, One Direction rival, 5SOS member Ashton Irwin. Although it may seem to many that the 18-year-old's recent purchases of VIP passes for One Direction concerts might be a move to win back her former flame (1D member Harry Styles), rumors allege that the real reason behind this is the show's opening act. 5SOS starts the show off, with Australian band member Irwin in tow.

Speculation also arose that Jenner might have wanted to display Irwin to Styles, as reports claim that the former lovebirds have not separated amicably.

Jenner and Irwin first sparked dating rumors when a recent photo of them taking a cab together in downtown New York had gone viral. Reports claim that Jenner had spent the night partying and hanging out with the Aussie singer before their photograph was snapped.

A picture posted on the young actress's Instagram account that night also suggest that Jenner spent the night with Irwin and co-5SOS member, Calum Hood as well as some of her close friends.

Jenner is believed to have met the 5SOS singer during the Billboard Awards she recently hosted. Jenner was tasked to introduce the popular Australian boy band that night, where she nearly mistakenly introduced them as the British band, One Direction.
