In the new season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, rumor has it that Kris and Bruc Jenner will try to salvage whatever is left of their relationship before they give up and separate for good.

In this new season, they are going to feature the rough patch of Bruce's and Kris' marriage. In a preview, Kris insisted they remain friends after their split, since they've been married for over 22 years, "I just don't like it when people start rumors that are a little crazy," Kris says in the E! preview of the show, "The longer we live apart the more reason they have to speculate."

However, it seemed like Bruce is not at all enthusiastic about the "remaining friends" arrangement, "To be honest with you, I don't care," he said.

In another interview, Kris shared that there is a reason why he wanted to stop Bruce from renting a house in Malibu and move back in with his family, "I think it might be a good idea to put everybody under one roof so that we can all just connect again," she says in the preview.

Eventually, since Bruce did not agree to move back with them, they both decided to move forward with their lives separately, "I'm doing great. Kris is happy, I'm happy. Nobody is filing for divorce," Bruce told People after the announcement of their separation, "Kris has her own place and I have my own place. There's no animosity. Everything is good."

Kris also agreed with Bruce's sentiments, "We're actually really good. Bruce and I are best friends and we actually have a lot of mutual love and respect for one another," Jenner told Entertainment Tonight. "... So I think that when you read into a lot of the rubbish that's being printed and on the internet and on the tabloids it's just crap. Nobody knows what's going on except Bruce or [myself] but we're just fabulous."

Season 9 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians will air on January 19 on E! Network.
