'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' Season 10 News, Rumors: E! Network's $100 Million Deal [VIDEO]
On Thursday, February 26, Page Six told its readers that E! signed a $100 million deal with Kris Jenner and her family for four more seasons of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." However, reports on Friday show that the deal with E! is "grossly inaccurate," according to a spokesperson for the network.
A source told Page Six."You'll be seeing a lot more of the Kardashian family. This is a huge deal, which will see their involvement with the network and its digital properties expand well into the future."
If the deal is as big as reported, it would make "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" hold a record for reality TV. According to Variety the deal is closer to $20 million for three seasons instead of four and the clothing allowance is $75,000 per season for all family members.
According to The Huffington Post, the last time the family renewed their contract with E! in 2012 the deal was for $40 million, making them the highest-paid reality TV stars in the worlds at the time.
The show would return to Kris and her daughters, Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian along with Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Bruce Jenner, Kris' ex-husband, will reportedly leave the show after its tenth season. Sources report the he will have his own show in regards to his sex change. Kim's husband, Kanye West, will also not appear.
The family is highly successful as each has made their way into the entertainment news one way or another: There are multiple spin-off shows in the works; Kendall has made a name for herself in the fashion industry as a model; Kim's iPhone app is make hundreds of thousands of dollars, and Khloe is a red carpet correspondent for E!.
The new season of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" airs on Sunday, March 15.
