Katie Holmes Dating Robin Thicke Rumors: Email Sparks Romance?
Katie Holmes and Robin Thicke are allegedly dating, and what's interesting is that their relationship supposedly sparked with an email.
"She dropped him an email recently to see how he was, knowing he was going through divorce hell. They've arranged a date in New York after his tour ends this month. Everyone's encouraging this as they have so much in common and if anyone can get him over Paula, it's Katie," a source told New Idea.
Holmes reportedly met Thicke back in 2010, on the set of 'Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol' which stars their partners at the time, Tom Cruise and Paula Patton.
Holmes and Cruise ended their marriage back in 2012, while Thicke and Patton divorced early this year.
Although the some people believe that the two would make a great couple, a report says that the news about Holmes dating Thicke is just a rumor.
A source close to Holmes told Gossip Cop that the dating rumor was not true, and that the 'The Giver' actress was confused about where the rumor came from.
In addition to Thicke, the actress has been previously linked with Jamie Foxx and her fellow 'The Giver' co-star Alexander Skarsgard, but none of the dating rumors have been confirmed by Holmes herself.
As of now, Holmes is reportedly focusing on two things - being a mother to her daughter Suri, and reviving her acting career.
On a side note, The 35-year-old actress earned great praise for her recent performance in 'The Giver'.
"She is so good in this," said Lois Lowry, author of 1993 novel 'The Giver'.
"I can't imagine how they thought of her in casting it because it's completely alien to her normal image. But that's the brilliance of the casting: It's beautiful, warm, loving Katie Holmes, and she's chilling," added Lowry.
Holmes is also set to make a directorial debut in the movie adaptation of 'All We Had', which is based on an Annie Weatherwax novel of the same name.
The movie which is about a poverty-stricken mother and her 13-year-old daughter is written by 'Fault In Our Stars' director Josh Boone, and is set to be produced by Jane Rosenthal.
"I am very excited and honored to be collaborating with Jane and Josh on this project and look so forward to bringing Annie's incredible characters to the screen," the actress told Variety.
