Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton was spotted relaxing by the beach in Cancun over the weekend with her rumored beau, baseball player Justin Verlander.

The 22-year old was seen reading a book, while Verlander lounged on a beach chair and was seen taking lots of dips in the ocean.

Apparently, Upton got sunburned on the first day of their vacation, as evidenced by the deep red tan lines on her body. Verlander was also seen rubbing some sunscreen on Upton to ensure that she didn't burn any further.

According to an eye-witness, the two were "very loved up and enjoyed being with each other" during their beach getaway. Upton looked very happy as she was seen smiling a lot as she took a break from her busy schedule to catch up some quality time with Verlander.

The couple has yet to confirm their relationship, and in an interview earlier this year, Upton said that she was single. However, the recent photos of the couple's three-day vacation hint that they may be getting really serious.

Further evidence of their romance was seen as the model stepped out on a solo outing on July 24 sporting a namesake bracelet with "Justin" written across it. The model wore her bracelet with tight blue jeans, a white collared shirt, dark glasses and a purse as she met up with some friends at Café' Gratitude.

Upton is currently busy being the new face of Bobbi Brown cosmetics. Her movie, "The Other Woman' was released this year.
