The Duchess was supposed to go on a solo overseas trip to Malta to attend the celebration of the country's Independence Day on behalf of the Queen. The said trip was also supposed to be the Duchess's induction to being a senior member of the Royal family, but she missed the affair due to hyperemesis gravidarium.

On behalf of Middleton who was advised to rest in Kensington Palace, Prince William went to Malta to attend the celebrations. The Prince allegedly apologized to the residents of Malta for his wife's absence.

"Sorry Catherine can't be here. She's doing so-so," the Prince reportedly told the residents.

The Duke and Duchess will reportedly be living in Anmer Hall, a ten-bedroom Georgian pile located in Norfolk.

Although the couple will be living in Norfolk, it is said that the two will still visit London frequently.

"While they will be predominantly living in Norfolk, the intention is for Kate to hop between London and Norfolk while looking after Prince George," said a source.
