Kate Middleton Baby News Update: Family Getaway in Scotland with Prince William and Baby George

Recently, Prince William and Kate Middleton flew to Scotland for a romantic getaway, however, they decided to bring along their little bundle of joy, little Prince George.

"William wanted to take Kate away for a break after her [rough past couple of months]," an insider close to the couple told Us Weekly.

The source added that the couple usually go to Balmoral earlier in the year when the Queen is in residence, "They both love the outdoors and the weather isn't too cold yet, so it's the perfect time to take a trip."

Kate, who is pregnant with the couple's second child, had been plagued by hypermeisis gravidarium, an acute form of morning sickness, which had forced her to curtail any public appearances for a month.

According to the source, she is now doing much better and was even able to weather the one-hour flight from Heathrow Airport to Aberdeen Airport, which is the nearest stop to Balmoral Castle, the Queen's home in Scotland.

While they usually visit the castle when the Queen is there, this time they decided to go while she is in London.

The trip to Scotland is rumored to be the first of two trips they plan to take this Fall. According to People magazine, the couple is also considering a trip to New York City in the "coming months."

On that note, Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, is expected to deliver her second child in April, 2015.
