Kate Middleton and Prince William Latest News: Celebrations and Wax Makeovers

The Duke and Dutchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton are always pleasurable to follow around in terms of what's going on in their fairy tale lives. Recently, a double celebration of Prince William's birthday and Kate's parents' anniversary happened at the Amer Hall on the Sandringham Estate.

According to reports, Prince William and Kate welcomed Carole and Michael Middleton in the Amer Hall where the Queen had allocated the Royal couple for their country retreat. The 10-bedroom property is just two miles from the Queen's residence.

According to a royal insider of hello magazine, "William invited them to Sandringham, wanted to show them around Anmer Hall."

Additional reports mentioned that the two couples had a barbeque on Saturday afternoon as they celebrated Prince William's 32nd birthday and Kate's parent's 34th wedding anniversary. It comes as no surprise that the Royal couple have a close relationship with Kate's family.

"They had a barbecue on Saturday afternoon, Mike helped William, while the ladies entertained Prince George," the royal insider told hello magazine.

They even spent Christmas once with Carole and Michael in their home in Buckleberry instead of spending it with the British royals. When Kate gave birth to her first born Prince George, they went to Buckleberry just days after, which proves how close knit their family is.

In other news, the Duke and Dutchess of Cambridge just recently had a makeover for their wax figures. The wax works of the couple finally had their outfits changed after two years. The previous clothes they wore were their engagement attire. Now, Kate has been dressed in a full-length turquoise silk jersey Issa London gown, shoes and clutch bag by LK Bennett, while William is in a double-breasted black Gieves and Hawkes dinner suit.

According to Tussauds Marketing Manager Matthew Clarkson, "the Royal Family have always been the highlight of a visit for many guests to Madame Tussauds London, and the young royal couple have been particularly popular since their launch two years ago. After two years in the attraction, it seemed the perfect time to give them a glamorous makeover," he told Mirror.co.uk.
