Less than ten days after announcing her split from rock star Matthew Bellamy, Kate Hudson has been seen with another man - 'Dancing with the Stars' staple, Derek Hough.

Us Weekly went on to report that the pair seemed intimate around each other. Hudson and Hough were spotted at a restaurant in West Hollywood, where they reveled in each other's company past closing time.

The Academy Award-nominated actress, who most recently starred in the Zach Braff film 'Wish I Was Here', broke off her engagement to Bellamy, 36, after four years together. Hudson's representative told People Magazine that the couple had been separated for some time on Monday.

Hudson, 35, and both suitors - Bellamy and Hough - were seen at an event for her mother's foundation, the Hawn Foundation's MindUp program on Nov. 21 in Los Angeles. Bellamy last appeared at Hudson's side at the event, taking photographs with Hudson and her famous mother, Goldie Hawn.

Hough, who is six years Hudson's junior, performed a dance for the inaugural Love In For Kids benefit. The dancer has been previously linked to British pop star Cheryl Cole and 'Vampire Diaries' lead actress Nina Dobrev.

The 'Almost Famous' starlet and the English rocker have a son together, Bingham Hawn Bellamy, 3. In the official statement, the couple said they remained "very close friends and committed co-parents."

Bellamy originally proposed to the 'Bride Wars' actress in April 2011, four months before their son was born. Hudson, who has another son with her ex-husband, Chris Robinson, talked to SELF Magazine earlier this year about the difficulties of romance.

"Relationships are the most challenging things," Hudson said in the magazine's May 2014 issue, "It's where you do the most work in your life. You come face-to-face with yourself, and if you can deal with realizing we're all flawed, accept it and work with it, you might have a really amazing, lasting relationship."
