Kate Gosselin returns to TLC with a new season of 'Kate Plus 8', but her good fortune stands a chance to take a turn for the worse. Apparently, her ex-husband Jon Gosselin is paving his way to get entitlement to a portion of Kate's salary especially since she has been earning with her spin-off show.

A source from Radar Online detailed that Jon and Kate are currently "at war" concerning the host's income from the show, "Jon's trying to get a percentage of Kate's TLC salary for the new 'Kate Plus 8' specials. He has no stable job, no steady income, and now he's trying to tell Kate that if she doesn't give him a cut of the money, he will claim the kids hate filming and they are being forced to do it."

The same source added that Kate has been offered to do 'Kate Plus 8' specials for $40,000 per episode. The Gosselins have eight children, two of which will be going to college in about five years.

Kate and Jon are not on very good terms, and that has grown worse since the former agreed not to receive any financial support in exchange for the father's full withdrawal of parental rights.

Unfortunately for Kate, Jon is taking matters legally as he wants to have full custody claiming that their kids are exploited to do TV shows. Life & Style reported, "He would love to take her to court and get total custody of his kids. He doesn't want them on TV and he doesn't want Kate's influence on them. He'll do whatever it takes."
