Royals vs Giants Live Stream Free: Watch Online MLB 2014 World Series Game 1
The San Francisco Giants will battle the Kansas City Royals on October 21 at the Ewing M. Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. The game will start at 8:07 pm ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).
The Giants looks to take a 1-0 series lead on the road versus the Royals in Game 1 of the 2014 World Series, when Giants hurler Madison Bumgarner (18-10, 2.98) is scheduled to start on Tuesday evening.
"I think I would've insulted him if I checked with him," said Giants manager Bruce Bochy to reporters in reference to Bumgarner's forthcoming start at the 'Fall Classic'.
"He's a big, strong guy. His last game I thought he had great stuff. It's not like he's thrown 120-130 pitches. His workload has been under control."
Previously, the Giants eliminated the St. Louis Cardinals from postseason contention in five games of the 2014 National League Championship Series, when San Francisco won by the final score of 6-3 on October 16.
The Giants are attempting to win their seventh championship in franchise history (and their third title in five years) when they go head-to-head versus the Royals in the 2014 World Series.
Meanwhile, the Royals are looking to win their second World Series title in franchise history (after Kansas City defeated the St. Louis Cardinals, in seven games in the 1985 'Fall Classic' Series), but first Kansas City must outlast San Francisco in the potentially epic best-of-seven series.
Royals ace James Shields (14-8, 3.21) will attempt to shutdown Giants' relentless offense in the biggest stage of professional baseball: the World Series.
"There's never been a question mark," said Royals skipper Ned Yost to reporters.
"We'll go James Shields in Game 1, [Yordano] Ventura in Game 2. That's as far as I'm going."
The Royals previously swept the Baltimore Orioles in four games of the 2014 ALCS, where the undefeated Kansas City squad won by a final score of 2-1 in Game 4 in the previous postseason round.
The game will start at 8:07 pm ET and can be watched on TV on the Fox network or online through live stream by clicking here.
