K-LOVE Fan Awards 2014 Weekend Recap: Live Music from Amy Grant, Switchfoot, Scott Stapp, Behind the Scenes, and More (VIDEO)
The K-LOVE Fan Awards took place last weekend with Christian music's biggest names in attendance, providing concerts, signing autographs, and playing in celebrity basketball games.
BreatheCast was on site covering the weekend's festivities in which hundreds of people from all over the United States were in attendance. Fans were invited into the lives of their favorite artists as K-LOVE provided a place at the Opry Land Resort for families and Christian music stars to meet, play, and perform.
For day one of the events, Mikeschair and Jamie Grace put on mini concerts in the fanzone, while others such as Francesca Battistelli, Building 429, and Casting Crowns signed autographs. Matthew West, Royal Taylor, and Group 1 Crew played in day one of the celebrity basketball game.
People were given a chance to go inside and view Jeremy Camp's tour bus while signed guitars and other memorabilia was auctioned off in a silent auction.
On the first night of the K-LOVE Fan Awards' activities, fans packed out a mega conference room/hall that featured the K-LOVE kick off concert, with a star studded performance featuring For King & Country, Tenth Avenue North, Rend Collective, NEEDTOBREATHE, and Switchfoot.
The weekend's events continued on day two with a celebrity basketball game that featured TobyMac and his children, as well as Scott Stapp, lead singer of the band Creed, Matthew West, NBA star Kelena Azubuike, Capital Kings, and more. In the mean time, Sidewalk Prophets and singer Josh Wilson put on mini concerts in the fan zone as other Christian stars signed autographs.
The night ended with an intimate power packed acoustic concert featuring Amy Grant, New Song, Sanctus Real, Scott Stapp, Chris August, Crowder, Britt Nicole, Casting Crowns, and many others.
