The K-LOVE fan awards are just days away and the festivities kick off tonight with a star studded concert featuring the popular bands, Rend Collective, For King & Country, Tenth Avenue North, NEEDTOBREATHE, and Switchfoot. BreatheCast is in Nashville covering the premiere event up until the award show and already people are piling in the Opry Land Resort to catch a glimpse of their favorite Christian artist.

K-LOVE is sponsoring the weekend kickoff concert Friday night and four out of five bands performing at tonight's event are going head to head on Sunday for the Best Live Show award at the K-Love Fan Awards. NEEDTOBREATHE, For King & Country, Switchfoot, and Rend Collective are the bands competing for the award.

Tenth Avenue North is nominated for two other awards for Sunday's event. The nominations are for "Group/Duo of the Year Award" and "First Christian Artist to Appear on a 7UP Can."

The actual award show this Sunday, June 1 will be held at the Grand Ole Opry House. The list of performers include Tenth Avenue North, for KING & COUNTRY, Rend Collective, and Switchfoot along with Chris Tomlin, Hillsong UNITED, Steven Curtis Chapman, MercyMe, Francesca Battistelli, Natalie Grant, Mandisa, Crowder, Casting Crowns, Matthew West, Newsboys, Building 429, Jamie Grace, Big Daddy Weave, Phil Wickham, Matt Maher, Kutless, Colton Dixon, Plumb, and Jeremy Camp.

"Dancing With the Stars" top three finalist Candace Cameron Bure and ASCAP's reigning Christian Music Songwriter of the Year Matthew West will host the K-LOVE Fan Awards.

In addition, Michael W. Smith, Britt Nicole, Scott Stapp, Sidewalk Prophets, The Afters, Newsong, Anthem Lights, Best-Selling author Max Lucado, K-LOVE NASCAR Driver Michael McDowell, Carolina Panthers Linebacker Thomas Davis, Charlotte Bobcats Center Cody Zeller and Louie Giglio will join the list of presenters for the K-LOVE Fan Awards Show.
