It's been a tough year so far for pop star Justin Bieber.  His relationship with disney turned pop starlet, Selena Gomez, ended officially in January when the two were vacationing in Mexico.  Since then, Bieber has has been in the news for everything but his music.  He was caught allegedly smoking pot, for spitting on his neighbor and going off on some of his fans, which is very unlike Justin normally.  He also has had incidents with the paparazzi while touring in Europe.  

News did break that last week when Bieber was home between stints in Europe that he actually visited his ex Selena Gomez.  Reports are that he visited Gomez's home in Encino,CA on the way to LAX airport before flying back to Europe.  He got to her house with his entourage around 3:30pm and stayed for just over an hour.  Soon after Justin left her house, Gomez was seen driving away as well.  

So are they mending fences?  Is life coming back into their relationship or was this simply two people that care about each other catching up. 

For everyone who has been through break ups, there is always one person trying to get closure on a situation.  So since Bieber was the one who got dumped, maybe it has been killing him to not have answers on some things.  No matter how big of a star you are, they have emotions just like the rest of us and probably even have it harder with everyone in the public eye having an opinion on their relationship.  It is hard for anyone to sift through all of the information and know what to believe and what not to. 

Gomez has seemed in great spirits recently promoting her new movie, "Spring Breakers".  She has even taken a few jabs at the Biebs, like on Letterman when she joked about making Bieber cry.  Was this truth slipping out or just playful banter?  We might never know.
