Justin Bieber Latest News: DUI Arrest Cop Investigated for Misconduct

The Miami Beach cop who pulled over pop star Justin Bieber in January because he was drag racing has been called out on multiple occasions for misbehavior, according to claims in a new TMZ report.

According to TMZ, Officer Steven Cosner wrote in his police statement he witnessed cars driven by Bieber and Khalil in the middle of a drag race at speeds between 55 and 60 MPH.  The GPS tracking system displays that the highest speed of the cars was supposedly 27 mph.

TMZ has acquired several Miami Beach PD internal affairs papers, which displayed Cosner has been suspected of misbehavior for at least 15 times dating from 2001 to 2012.

In addition, according to TMZ, Cosner failed to show up for the trial hearings at least 5 times.  In each case he was scolded: 3 spoken warnings and 2 written warnings.

According to TMZ, in another instance back in 2006 the PD revealed Cosner committed 3 violations including the the rules of "courtesy and respect," "Off duty/secondary employment," and "unlawful compensation."  For those law defilements, he was suspended.

In 2007, Cosner was also alleged of using offensive conduct/language.  The accusation seems to still be open case as of right now.

Then in 2011, Officer Cosner was written up for sleeping while on duty.

According to TMZ, the remaining 7 cases regarding Cosner were vindicated by Internal Affairs.

Cosner's record may possibly create difficulties for prosecutors if the DUI case goes to trial.
