Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber's on-again, off-again relationship continues, with fans unsure whether they will ultimately get back together or not.

Rumors about Gomez struggling over recent months have been widespread, and reports of her needing rehab, as well as other claims that she has had cosmetic surgery have been circulating.

Some media claims have said that she underwent a procedure as she has been "a complete mess" after breaking up with Bieber, and that he was "the love of her life."

"Selena is a complete mess. Justin was the love of her life, and she can't face the fact that their relationship may be over for good," a source has claimed.

However, according to an E! News report, the rumors are not true, and Gomez has absolutely not had any type of cosmetic surgery at all.

"This is a rumor that comes up all the time," a source told E! News. "She did not have any work done."

Meanwhile, family members were worried after learning that Gomez had a couple of encounters with the police just days after she got back together with Bieber.

Ricardo Gomez, Selena's granddad spoke about Bieber.

"He was just a nice little fella. Totally different from what he is right now....It just makes me feel upset because he used to be a real nice boy....He went out of his head with the people who are surrounding him. We worry. We worry not just because of the relationship with Selena. We worry for him. We hate to see him in trouble," Ricardo said.
