Jurassic World Movie Release Date 2015, Spoilers: Director Tweets First Picture, Captioned 'Nights'
Fans of the Jurassic Park film series are desperately waiting for any news at all about the upcoming fourth installment, Jurassic World. Director Colin Trevorrow decided to take this matter into his own hands and posted the first and only photo teaser for the film on Tuesday, June 18.
The black and white photo appears to be of an ordinary, everyday street. However, a closer look will reveal a terrifying shadow of a prehistoric reptilian creature. The caption for this picture, reads "Nights," which does not diverge much about the film's plot or story line.
While this recent image does not provide fans with plot lines or potential scenes, Trevorrow has already taken care of interested parties, by confirming major story lines in an interview with Slash Film, last month.
-Location: "The new movie will take place in a fully functional park on Isla Nublar."
-"It [the 'Jurassic Park'] sees more than 20,000 visitors every day. You arrive by ferry from Costa Rica. It has elements of biological preserve, a safari, a zoo and a theme park. There is a luxury resort with hotels, restaurants, nightlife and a golf course. And there are dinosaurs. Real ones. You can get closer to them than you ever imagined possible. It's the realization of John Hammond's dream, and I think you'll want to go there."
-Timeline: Jurassic World will pick up 22 years after Jurassic Park, "It's the realization of John Hammond's dream." Trevorrow said.
- The film will primarily concern dinosaurs, but also play for societ's obsession with technology and capitalistic behavior, "What if, despite previous disasters, they built a new biological preserve where you could see dinosaurs walk the earth ... and what if people were already kind of over it? We imagined if a teenager is texting his girlfriend with his back to a T-Rex behind protective glass." said Trevorrow.
Jurassic World is set to launch in American theaters in June of 2015.
