After several years of waiting, dinosaur fans were eager to see the upcoming film franchise hit the big screen again with a new thematic spin. The production team and crew members were trying to keep that information confidential, but somehow it was leaked to the Internet. According to Yahoo! Movies, the film's director is very upset with the plot's hasty exposure online.

Trevorrow expressed his dismay towards those who are responsible for spreading the film's plot. According to him, the leaked photos and information have discouraged the entire crew and severely affected group morale. What is truly at the heart of this issue is that cast and crew have been working hard on the film, only to have its shocks and surprises leaked to the media, effectively ruining the film for many.
