'Jupiter Ascending' Release Date, Spoilers: Film Delayed Until 2015 Due to CGI Setback
'Jupiter Ascending' has been pushed back to February 6, 2015, after setbacks with the completion of the upcoming movie's computer-generated images (CGI), over 2,000 in total, has been reported.
It looks like Mila Kunis, who plays the titular role in the yet to be released Village Roadshow Pictures masterpiece, will be able to attend the movie's premiere after all, as Ashton Kutcher's bride to be is set to deliver their newborn some time during the first week of September, 2014.
Research for the film's screening as well as delays in the production's visual effects back in April, prompted 'Jupiter Ascending' producers to deviate from the forthcoming movie's July 18, 2014 original launch date.
The filmmakers for the Warner Bros. project, however, assured everyone that the 2015 release is well worth the wait, as panelists for the film during the 2014 International San Diego Comic-Con gave its patrons a taste of the action-adventure sci-fi movie through a breath-taking trailer, which captivated its audience.
Channing Tatum stars opposite Mila Kunis in the upcoming $150 million dollar movie, where he plays the character Caine Wise, an alien warrior who was genetically modified.
'Jupiter Ascending' is written and produced by the Wachowski brothers, the duo responsible for the state-of-the-art effects and massive success of the 'Matrix' trilogy.
