Joshua Price Marks National Debut With 'Nothing Without You'

Worship artist Joshua Price marks his national debut with Nothing Without You, available April 28. Produced by Conrad Johnson of Lakeland, Florida's Inertia Sound Studio, Nothing Without You features six selections co-written by Price and Johnson, including "Yahweh," "More Than A Feeling," and "You Are Good."

"The central message of the record is simply that we can't do this alone-we need a Savior," said Price. "Musically, the project is right where I wanted it to be. Since I am a singer/songwriter, and often just play acoustic guitar on the road, I wanted that to be the foundation from which the songs were built. But more than anything, my hope is that people hear the heartbeat behind the music, which is the message of the Gospel."

The project's title cut was written following the death of Price's brother five years ago, and has become a focal point for the artist's message as he shares with audiences. "There's a line that says, 'I'm not defined by circumstance/with You there's nothing left to chance/but I'm still torn apart.' That perfectly describes the place I often find myself. Yes, tragedy has stricken my family. Yes, life can seem hard. But ultimately, my identity is found in Jesus, not circumstance."

Formerly a worship leader and student minister at Second Baptist Church in Houston, Price currently is on staff at The Bridge Church in Venice, Florida. In addition, he frequently leads worship and speaks at churches, conferences, camps and other events across the country.
