Professional baseball player Josh Hamilton has been through a lot in his life.  He has battled drug and alcohol addiction, the lost of his parents and even being suspended by MLB from playing for a time.  

Hamilton shares his powerful story on 'I Am Second' (above) how he gave his life to the Lord and became a Christian. He even recalls a dream he had with Satan that changes his life.

His story is one of redemption not only with Jesus but with his career in basball being suspended and returning with the Texas Rangers and becoming an All-Star and one of the games most popular players.

This organization started, bottom line, because everyone is in need of help.  Everyone has different addictions, bad habits and hurtful tendencies that are in need of change.  'I Am Second' wants to shed the light on our pains to not only show that everyone struggles, but to also point to the one who we can lean on in those times (and in all times), God.  Life is hard, and trying to control everything and everyone in your life is only going to wear you down and defeat you. 

'I Am Second' started to give positive hope and change.  Not only do they have the website with dozens of interviews from famous athletes and celebrities, but they encourage people to get involved where ever they are at.  On their website there are opportunities to volunteer, start up or join a community group or even to help people recover from serious addictions.  Remembering to put God first, means that "I Am Second".  They have found that it is the best way to live and maybe you will too.
