Recent events indicate, that Amber Heard, Johnny Depp's girlfriend, has successfully domesticated him and his wild ways. The couple is engaged and seems like they are getting ready to start a family. Currently the pair is busy house hunting in London.

"I think they will have at least a weekend retreat in England soon, around London as they both love it so much - and I enjoy visiting. Last September they were both in England and they were in a hotel. Then they rented something on the edge of London. They love it, I'm sure they will buy something there," said Heard's dad, David, sources say.

Reports say that though Amber is not yet pregnant, she has developed a strong step mom bond over Depp's two kids. Depp's kids, Jack, 12 and Lily Rose, 14, from his previous relationship with Vanessa Paradis, are comfortable with their soon to be step mom, reports say. Also, with the wedding speculated to take place this Fall, Depp is working hard to bring his loved ones close to each other. Amber has a habit of seeing the kids every weekend that Johnny does. Earlier, Amber was seen taking Lily Rose out for a lunch; they were also seen shopping for a girls' day out last February.

While the the family looks for homes all around London to settle down in, Depp's stingy personality trait may get in the way. An insider has revealed that the 'Lone Ranger' actor buys most of his gifts for people with discount vouchers. Also, he readily accepts invitations from luxury restaurants to dine for free or low cost and takes Amber out on dates there.
