John Lennon & Bob Dylan Audition for "The Voice", Watch Funny (and Sad) Clip Here (VIDEO)
We have all watched an episode of "The Voice", "American Idol" or any other singing talent show and had flashes of other artists pop in our mind.
Sometimes it makes us laugh, because we know that they would not even make it past the first round.
People like Bob Dylan, Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day), Tom Delonge (Blink-182), even Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters).
We could go on and on and on, esppecially with in rock music.
Thankfully, many of the voices that we grew up listening to and made a creative impact on generations of music listeners were not judged just by their vocal chops but as writers and artists as a whole.
A YouTube video surfaced online yesterday giving a comical look on what exactly this would look like using one of the best songwriters of all time, John Lennon.
Blake Shelton tells John that "the verses were too dramatic." Adam Levine then says that John was "a little bit subdued." Shakira advises John to sing in a different key. Usher tries to keep things positive telling John that this is "just the beginning," Adam adds, "You really are a talented dude, for sure"...but the "talented dude" does not get any chairs to turn around or make a team.
At the end of the video, host Carson Daly previews the next contestant hopeful which happens to be Bob Dylan. Make sure you watch the video all the way through, it is a good laugh.
Sad but true.
