From fan favorites to snobby celebrities, WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee and her husband CM Punk suddenly found themselves involved in a fan bashing controversy recently.

Recently, a fan posted about his experience when he met the couple at the Blackhawks game in Chicago. The fan writes that when he wanted a photograph with the WWE champion, but Punk allegedly sneered at him. His refusal to oblige has left the fan angry as well as humiliated.

While Punk and Lee have been quiet about the allegations, John Cena, another WWE Champion, also ignored the issue. However, during an interview with the Fighting Spirit magazine, he praised CM Punk.

Replying to a question regarding his views on Punk's inclusion in the 'WWE 2K15' game even if the wrestler already quit the sport, Cena remarked, "Whether he's here or not, he's certainly left a mark in WWE. He's got to be in the game, and it's cool that that moment is not forgotten."

Before Lee married Punk on June 13, 2014, Cena and Lee allegedly had a romantic relationship.

In fact, Lee and Cena shared a kiss in the ring in October 2012, which went on to win the "Kiss of the Year" at Raw's Slammy Awards that year. Their affair came to an abrupt end when Lee also kissed Dolph Ziggler, and at the same time, helped Big E Langston attack Cena, as she asserted that he was responsible for breaking her heart.

In the meantime, Lee as well as Cena suffered upset losses during their recent RAW matches.

Lee suffered a humiliating defeat against Alicia Fox during the Divas match, after she was distracted by Fox with a fake quarrel with Paige outside the ring after pulling her in the Surprise Package to win night.

Cena and his partner Dean Ambrose, on the other hand, suffered a defeated against Kane, Seth Rollins and Randy Orton during a 3-on-2 Street Fight.

Next Sunday, Cena will be facing his long-time rival Randy Orton in another "Hell in a Cell" encounter, which will determine who will face Brock Lesnar in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
