Jimmy Kimmel Baby Girl Jane: TV Host Welcomes Baby With Wife Molly McNearny

The TV show host Jimmy Kimmel, has announced that he and his wife Molly McNearny welcomed a baby girl into the world on Thursday. The baby is Kimmel's third child and his first child with McNearny.

"Congratulations to my beautiful and very tough wife @mollymcnearny on delivering our baby girl this morning," the 46-year old Kimmel tweeted.

"Kids, don't do drugs. Until you have a baby. Then do ALL OF THEM," quipped McNearny right after her husband made the announcement.

The new parents named the their daughter Jane, a traditional moniker and a departure from Kimmel joking that he would have loved to name his next offspring "Karate" or "The Riddler".

The funnyman, who tied the knot with his long-time love last year, announced in February that they were expecting a baby together.

Kimmel revealed the exciting news on an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres show saying, "I'm having a baby"¦wait, I want to finish"¦with Ellen. No, I decided to have the first one with my wife. We got married in July and, you know, it's interesting. It's disgusting how babies are made."

Kimmel has two children, Katie and Kevin, with his ex-wife Gina, whom he split from in 2002. He admitted earlier this year that he would be out of practice when it comes to taking care of babies.

He explained, "I have a 20-year old son and a 22-year old daughter, and I've really forgotten everything. It's funny because I was just with some friends [Emily Blunt and John Krasinski] who just had a baby, and I was like, "Oh yeah. And there's new ways to do things.'"
