Jim Carrey 'Saturday Night Live' Recap: Matthew McConaughey Impersonation & 'Carrey Character Reunion'

Recently, Jim Carrey hosted 'Saturday Night Live' and brought with him several tricks that came just in time for the Halloween-themed episode on NBC. The 'Ace Ventura' actor returned to the NBC series on Saturday, Oct. 25, his third appearance in 18 years.

The 52-year old veteran comedian, widely known for his over-the-top boisterous performances, spoofed Matthew McConaughey's Lincoln MKC commercial. In the spoof, Carrey says nonsensical and random things about life while rubbing his fingertips together.

"Sometimes you gotta to actually move forward and I don't mean go back and reminisce or chase ghosts-I mean take a BIG step back, lie go from winning an Oscar to doing a car commercial. My agent was like, 'I can understand if you did this right after The Lincoln Lawyer. That would've made sense," Carrey says in one of the spoofs, trying to impersonate McConaughey's Texas accent.

He even made fun of McConaughey's finger-rubbing actions in the commercial ans says: "When I'm done rolling up this booger, should I eat it or throw it out the window? Feels good, like a tiny tennis ball," said Carrey as he impersonates McConaughey.

Meanwhile, other SNL cast members did their own impersonations as well- based on characters Jim Carrey has been known for in his career, including Ace Ventura, The Riddler and The Mask.

SNL took to Twitter to post an image of the cast mimicking Carrey.

Carrey wrapped up the show with a showcase of his signature dance moves while wearing funny costumes in a skit with Kate McKinnon dressed as Sia wearing a tight leotard from the "Chandelier" music video. One set showed "Fancy" singer Iggy Azalea joining in on the fun with Carrey and McKinnon.

On a side note, Carrey has an upcoming film, 'Dumb and Dumber To' which is set to hit theaters next month.
