Listen to the "Jesus Is Our King" Remix Featuring Jared Eaves and Lori Hall Here!
Popular Gospel song, "Jesus is Our King"is getting a makeover just in time for Thanksgiving. As part of a turkey day special release, Jared Eaves and Lori Hall are recording a remix of the iconic praise song, as was previously released by David Moore.
Moore no longer records solo music, will produce the new single alongside Doug Michael. Instead of releasing solo songs under his own name, Moore now releases new projects with wife Krista, who records under the pseudonym Tyde Moore.
"Jesus Is Our King" is widely recognized as one of the best praise songs in the book. Due to its lyrics which center around spiritual doubt and hardship, the song is sang in churches around the country. Divulging from the folksier original, Eaves, Hall, Moore and Michael opted for a bigger, Gospel-sound. In doing so they replaced the harmonica with Billy Anderson on reverb[ed] keyboards as well as more arrangement and instruments.
Just in time for Thanksgiving, the new remix will be released November 26, 2013, via SRO Records. "Jesus Is Our King" will be especially dedicated to the late founder of the Christian record company, Terry Rose.
