Jessie J on Writing Song for '50 Shades of Grey' Movie / '50 Shades' Cast Rumors Still A Mystery / August 1 2014 Release Date, Director Confirmed

I know the Internet is at full capacity with 50 Shades of Grey cast rumors. However, this is the first word of possible soundtrack contributions.

Who better to pen the title track to the seductive film adaptation than rising U.K. superstar, and British Idol winner Jessie J?

I wish there was something a little more concrete to report but it seems, like all things 50 Shades of Grey, the rumor is 50 kinds of gossip. However, Jessie J has been on public record admitting she'd like get away from the childishness of her earlier songs and start working on something more adult; more mature.

"I'm 25 now and I was 18 when I wrote my first album. So however much I love 'Price Tag' I feel a bit childish singing it now. And that's okay to say.

When approached with the idea of recording a song for the 50 Shades of Grey soundtrack J told the Daily Star: "I could do the song for the 50 Shades film. Who knows, why not?"

There you have it! One of the closest to being confirmed rumors surrounding the upcoming 50 Shades of Grey movie.

In all seriousness, E.L. James and Universal have confirmed the movie adaptation to her raunchy, sex-crazed novel is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide August 2014.

Still no word on who will play BDSM-obsessed billionaire Christian Grey, and the easily seduced schoolgirl Anastasia Steele. Could the cast rumors be true? Will Ian Somerhalder and Alexis Bledel take on the angsty roles?
