After a four-year engagement Jessica Simpson finally tied the knot with NFL player Eric Johnson at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California. It was a heartfelt wedding according to reports the couple choked and had some laughs as they said their wedding vows to each other.

It was reported that Simpson in the beginning of her vows got confused saying her own name instead of Johnson's. She just laughed it off and started again. Meanwhile, Simpson's groom, with probably mixed with emotions, choked as he began his vow to his bride and he too, had to start all over again.

It was a sweet wedding with 250 guests to witness it. According to reports, it was very special as Simpson's father, Joe Simpson officiated the wedding. Simpson was a sight to admire as she walked down the aisle wearing a classic Carolina Herrera gown.

According to reports, guests traveled from different states like New York, Massachusetts and Illinois to take part in the lovely event. Celebrities like Jessica Alba, CaCee Cobb, Donald Faison, Topher Grace, Evan Ross, Ashlee Simpson and Cash Warren were present. The most special wedding attendees were apparently the newlyweds' 1-year-old son, Ace who was also the ring bearer, their 2-year-old daughter Maxwell was a flower girl at the wedding.

Reports say that it was quite a party. After the ceremony, the reception was still full of people dancing until 5 a.m. Although according to reports, the Bride didn't dance that much as she chatted with her friends and family.
