Jessa Duggar celebrated her 22nd birthday and honeymoon as a married woman, after being wed to Ben Seewald on November 1.

The '19 Kids and Counting' reality star and her 19-year old husband's wedding surprised over 1,000 guests when they announced that they were not going to kiss at the altar and wanted to share their first kiss in private.

Aside from that, the reception had its share of unusual things as well. Instead of the traditional cake, the couple served ice cream and brownies served with different topping like caramel, chocolate, cookies and candies.

"I don't really like cake, we wanted ice cream sundaes instead," Duggar said to People magazine while they were planning their wedding, noting that she ate chocolate and her husband opted for mint chocolate chip.

Beyond that, the pair did not reveal the location of their honeymoon, but some rumors say that the couple is not on the beach. This conclusion came about because of a recent interview with '19 Kids and Counting' matriarch Michelle Duggar with Us Magazine, in which she said that there too many prying eyes on the beach.

"It's just too hard for the guys to try to keep their eyes averted," Michelle Duggar shared.

However, Jessa's sister, Jill and her husband Derick Dillard headed to the beach for their honeymoon after they got married in June. They spent their honeymoon at Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. Nevertheless, the Duggar clan chooses to uphold high standards or decency.

"Our parents have always taught us that it is important to be modest, so we have chosen to wear modest swimwear," says 18-year old Jinger Duggar.

"And our modest swimsuits are comfortable," she adds.
