Jeremy Lin News, NBA Trade Rumors: 'Linsanity' All-Star Game Appearance

Phoenix Suns and free agent Eric Bledsoe appear to be in the spotlight went it comes to NBA league news. Looking ahead to the 2014-2015 season, Los Angeles Lakers are eagerly searching for a replacement for Jeremy Lin. Two projected players for the slot are Bledsoe and Goran Dragic.

ESPN reporter, Marc Stein said, "The Lakers, for example, are just one team league sources say would likely make a hard run at both of them, based on the premise that the Suns couldn't afford the cost of paying both at that point, theoretically making either Bledsoe or Dragic gettable."

Currently, Bledsoe and Phoenix couldn't sign the contract because he demanded a salary of $85 million. According to some reports, The Suns can only offer around $48 million, which causes some issues.

On that note, Jeremy Lin is quickly approaching his contract's expiration date. If he performs well in Los Angeles, his contract might be extended, but it's probably not going to be the same amount he got ($15 million per year contract) with his previous team, Rockets. Jeremy Lin is targeted to be the starter point guard for the Lakers. Many of his fans can various NBA analysts feel that he can prove his worth in the new few games and deserve to start in them.

According to Latin Post, if Jeremy Lin can help the Lakers through the playoffs, he might be able to be in the All-Star game, based on his performance, popularity, and value as a basketball player.

In his career average, he scored 12.5 points, 2.6 rebounds and 4.1 assists. This year marks the fifth year he will be playing in the NBA.
