Recently, news broke about Marc Anthony and Shannon De Lima's engagement, and immediately gossip outlets were looking to hear from Anthony's ex-wife and Hollywood celebrity, Jennifer Lopez.

"I'm happy for him," Lopez revealed to the New York Daily News about the matter. While several reports speculated that the actress and singer would be bitter about the newly engaged couple, she is in fact feeling the opposite.

She also revealed her hopes of meeting her own romance in the future. "I am totally single. It's not going to be forever. Someone great will come along," she continued. As she revealed, Lopez is the single mom of her twins from Anthony.

The 45-year-old songstress also talked about her past relationships, including her previous marriages, and how they didn't work out. "There's a lot of people in my life and that's hard. There's people in the house. There's hair and make-up. It's a lot, I think, for someone to deal with," she said.

"Forget about all the outside stuff, being judged, being under scrutiny in the relationship ... I guess that adds in ... but I think they would say that [the entourage] was a big part of their discomfort, if there was any," she added.

So far it seems that Lopez is happily single and is not completely detached from love since she is promoting her new book called 'True Love', and there's plenty of love in her life, like her 6-year-old twins Emme and Maximillian.

Although happy, it was still hard for her kids according to Lopez. "'You don't really say anything to a three-year-old, because they don't really understand anything is happening ... I remember like maybe after Marc wasn't in the house for about eight months, Max saying something because my dad came over," she told the Page Six.

"It was so painful. I go, 'That's my daddy', and he goes, 'My daddy left me'. I said 'No, baby, your daddy didn't leave you. You know how my daddy goes home? Your daddy goes home, too'. You're just scrambling at that point. What can you say to a three-year-old?" she added.

Meanwhile, Anthony and De Lima will reportedly move forward with their wedding this coming November in the Dominican Republic.
