Jennifer Lawrence & Chris Martin Split News: Relationship Between 'Hunger Games' Actress and Coldplay Singer Fizzles

It's official, Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin have called it quits after four month of dating. A source told People Magazine that Lawrence, 24, was the one who called off the relationship with Martin, 37.

Another source blamed their "insane" schedules, saying that was the main reason for their break up.

For those who may not know, Lawrence, after all, plays Katniss in 'The Hunger Games' movies and Mystique in the 'X-Men' films, while Martin is the lead singer of the band Coldplay.

Allegedly, the pair split up after Martin was seen at a family dinner at a sushi restaurant with his estranged wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, 42, who was stroking his face at one point. That same night, Lawrence was having dinner with a friend.

Paltrow and Martin, who have two children, daughter Apple and son Moses, have sometimes been seen together since their split last March.

J-Law and Martin began dating last June after Lawrence broke up with her boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult.

Although Lawrence and Martin tried to keep their relationship quiet, people noticed that Lawrence appeared at some of Martin's concerts. Additionally, she was seen at both the iHeart Radio Music Festival and the Kings of Leon concert at the Hollywood Bowl, despite her own busy schedule.

Lawrence's grandmother, Carolyn Koch even told the Sun earlier this month, "Jennifer's mom flew to Los Angeles to meet Chris. We will have to get another chair for the dinner table at Christmas."

On that note, Lawrence recently talked to Vanity Fair about her ideal man. She said she wanted a man who "isn't afraid to fart in front of me," she then added, "What I'm saying is all I need in a relationship is somebody to watch TV with."
