Friends of Chris Martin are convinced that Jennifer Lawrence has a lot of similarities with Martin's ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow.

According to People Magazine, friends of Martin are not surprised by the fact that Martin is dating Lawrence merely months after his separation from Paltrow. In fact, Chris' friends claim that both Lawrence and Paltrow run on somewhat similar wavelengths, which is why Martin likes Lawrence in the first place.

"Although Jennifer is different from Gwyneth, both girls are earthy. They like to play and act silly at times," a friend of Martin said, "Chris is happy because he and Jennifer are on the same wavelength."

Martin and the 24-year-old Academy award winning actress have been spending time together since June when Lawrence broke it off with her former boyfriend Nicholas Hault.

It was previously rumored that Lawrence was getting serious about the relationship and wanted to rush their marriage, however, the claims have been denied by the couple.

Meanwhile, Lawrence has been upset about her private photos, and how they leaked online.

She said to Vanity Fair, "Just because I'm a public figure, just because I'm an actress, does not mean that I asked for this," she said, "It does not mean that it comes with the territory. It's my body, and it should be my choice, and the fact that it is not my choice is absolutely disgusting. I can't believe that we even live in that kind of world. "

Although Jennifer has been known to take things calmly and seriously, it is yet to be seen how serious the couple is about their relationship.
