Jeff Goldblum New Baby News: 'Jurassic Park' Actor Welcomes Baby Boy on Independence Day
Jeff Goldblum, one of the stars of Jurassic Park, announced the birth of his first child, Charlie Ocean Goldblum on Tuesday. The bouncing baby boy came in to the world on the 4th of July, the United States of America's Independence Day.
Goldblum shared a photograph of himself along with his wife, holding their newborn son in a hospital room.
He captioned the photograph: "We're excited to share the wonderful news of the birth of our son... born on the 4th of July. Independence Day."
Quite coincidentally, Goldblum is currently in the process of filming the sequel to one of his most popular feature films, Independence Day, Independence Day: Resurgence.
Back in January, in an interview on Late Show with David Letterman, Goldblum, who is sixty two years old, first announced that he and his wife, thirty two year old Emilie Livingston, would be expanding their family.
"She told me the day before we got married that she was pregnant," said Goldblum to Letterman.
The couple, who dated more than three years before they tied the knot, exchanged vows in November in Los Angeles.
Livingston shared the news of their engagement on her Twitter and Instagram account last year, after Goldblum got down on one knee and popped the big question while they were on vacation in Hawaii.
"Jul 8 he proposed @ our fave #okstore. I was taken over by tears of joy n ecstasy! We picked the ring 2gether #inlove," she tweeted on July 12.
To celebrate their engagement, the couple watched the sunrise at the Haleakala National Park in Hawaii.
The couple who has been linked together since January 2012, has certainly come a long way.
