Jay-Z's Magna Carta Holy Grail Set to Release Early to Samsung Customers, They Will Receive the Album 72 Hours Before the Rest of the World

Jay-Z's new album "Magna Carta Holy Grail" looks to have a monster release before it even comes out. The album is set now to release on July 4th. But, Samsung smartphone owners are getting it a few days before that.

Samsung has purchased one million copies of "Magna Carta Holy Grail" for $5 each. These copies will be made available to owners of all Samsung smartphone owners. Only the first 1 million users will be able to download the album.

The thing to consider about this album is that, with 1 million copies presold, "Magna Carta Holy Grail" has already gone platinum. That's right, before the commercial release or pre-release, the album has guaranteed to be platinum, if not more.

Jay-Z announced that he'd be releasing his album with a video featurette, showing the making of the album with a set of mega-producers. He also talks about making music in the digital age, saying that "The internet is like the wild west. The wild, wild west. We need to rewrite the rules. We don't have any rules, everybody is trying to figure it out."
