Jason Gray 'Nothing is Wasted' EP & Hit Single, & 'Storytellers Tour' with Andrew Peterson
Jason Gray has been working hard promoting his new album Nothing is Wasted and Chrisian radio has helped.
Gray, back in March, made a record with having his new single "Nothing is Wasted" receive a record breaking 21 adds. The stations that played the hit song were K-LOVE/Nashville, FISH/Los Angeles, New Life Media/Chicago, and KTIS/Minneapolis.
By having former hit singles on the radio, they have led Gray in the past, to win two ASCAP performance awards in 2011 and 2012. "We are absolutely thrilled with the success of Nothing is Wasted and the out-of-the-box adds it received from radio during add week," stated Jennifer Allen, Director of National Radio Promotion.
Jason released the five song EP for "Nothing is Wasted" in March and will continue to work on the album until its release late this year.
The Christian artist that is originally from Minnesota, started youth ministry at a very young age before going into music in 1999. Before signing with Centricity Music in 2006, Gray released four single records that talked about the importance of understanding service to the poor in his lyrics. Then, after 2006, Gray released his first studio album with the record label called All The Lovely Losers.
Earlier this year, Gray had the chance to officially go on his first tour with Andrew Peterson called "The Storytellers Tour". With both artists having a keen sense of humor, the ability to write inspirational lyrics, and have special intimate performances. The tour lasted from Jan. 29- March.
"Andrew Peterson has always been one of my heroes. He is a truth-teller of the highest order and creates some of the most beautiful music I've heard. I'm also grateful to call him my friend. We've talked about doing a tour together for years and im excited we finally get to do it" stated Gray about Andrew Peterson.
