Jason Bare Counts Down To Kickstarter Deadline For New CD, LOVE IS ALIVE

Singer/songwriter and worship leader Jason Bare has added new incentives to the Kickstarter campaign he has launched to raise capital for his new CD, Love Is Alive. To further reward fans who are partnering with him for his new music project, Bare is offering a matching voucher up to $100, redeemable for merchandise in the Jason Bare Online Store. The deadline for pledging to Bare's new CD is 11:59 p.m. E.T., Monday, July 8.

"As we near the end of this Kickstarter campaign, I am excited to sweeten the pot a bit to anyone who pledges by offering an incentive in matching Jason Bare Store funds," Bare says. "We are getting closer to bringing this new CD to fruition and I'm thrilled with the team and the music we have assembled. Many thanks to my fans who have partnered with me on this journey."

Bare has gathered a number of veterans from the Christian music industry for the new project. Luke Buishas and Aaron Rice, who have worked with the likes of Mandisa, TobyMac and Rachel Lampa, are on board to produce Love Is Alive. In preparation for the new album, Bare has been writing with several acclaimed songwriters, including Jennie Lee Riddle ("Revelation Song") and Rice, who was nominated for a Grammy for TobyMac's "Made To Love."

Bare joins a growing list of musicians and other creative people who are utilizing Kickstarter for new projects. Popular Christian artists Shaun Groves, Thousand Foot Krutch, John Schlitt and Cheri Keaggy all funded their most recent CDs through Kickstarter, as did Five Iron Frenzy, which exceeded its goal by more than 500 percent to record the band's latest CD.
