Jars of Clay Frontman Dan Haseltine Recovering after Procedure to Correct a Coronary Issue after Experiencing a Cardiac Event

Last week, Jars of Clay tweeted that their frontman Dan Haseltine "underwent a procedure to correct a coronary issue after experiencing a cardiac event."

After the procedure Haseltine tweeted, "Heading home. Reading thru the notes from friends, family and fans... Overwhelming. I'm truly a rich man."

Jars of Clay tweeted later that Haseltine is doing well and is currently recovering. The band won't make it to this year's Soulfest in Gilford, NH to be held this week. The band expressed, "Soulfest is one of our favorite and most encouraging festivals of the year and we apologize to all of our fans who are coming out to the festival, we will miss having the experience with you all this year."

However Jars of Clay has already scheduled their Fall tour and they are looking forward to it. Headliner Jars of Clay will tour with special guests Sleeping at Last and Mariah McManus. For the dates click here.

The band is currently finishing the work on their 11th studio album.
