Janel Parrish, 26, seems to have a new man in her life after the break-up between her and Payson Lewis, her longtime boyfriend. Parrish is allegedly dating Val Chmerkovsky, 28, her partner on the 19th season of 'Dancing with the Stars'.

"As far as the rumors of romance between Val and me, I just want people to focus on the dancing that we do and the hard work we do," Parrish wrote this week on her blog for People magazine, "I appreciate that people see that we have chemistry."

The past week's episode showed a behind-the-scenes moment of tension between the partners, and Parrish admitted the clip was accurate. She added that rehearsals could be "very stressful and frustrating," but claimed her partnership with Chmerkovsky remained strong.

"Sometimes we don't agree, but the thing that I love about Val and I is that we have really good communication," she said, "So when things like that happen, we're able to talk through it and find a solution. We were really able to kind of cool off and talk about the things that bothered us in a calm way and compromise."

Parrish and Chmerkovsky have done well in the competition, consistently receiving high scores. During the third week of competing, they received a perfect 40 for their jazz number performed to "America" from 'West Side Story'.

Parrish is an actress best known for playing Mona Vanderwaal on ABC Family series 'Pretty Little Liars', while Chmerkovsky is a professional dancer.
