Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy are considered to be one of the front-running pairs in 'Dancing with the Stars' Season 19. Parrish and Chmerkovskiy have made themselves out to be one of the fan favorite pairs with their remarkable dance moves and outstanding on-stage chemistry.

However, the evident chemistry between them has also led to speculation that the two are dating. The rumors about this became fueled when news broke that the two shared a kiss during the show's first week.

Parrish and Chmerkovskiy's interactions caused viewers to speculate that something is going on between them, even off stage. A source of Radar Onlines said that the chemistry between the two is also evident even when the cameras are off.

"They spend so much time together and they are so touchy feely and all over each other. It happens sometimes on the show," added the source.

Dancing pairs having a fling on the show is pretty normal, but the relationship rarely lasts according to the source.

"It usually doesn't last past the finale, but it is normal. It's like a short-lived romance. It's like going on spring break or a teen tour. You go away for six weeks and find a boyfriend and go back to high school and it's over," the source explained.

Last season, Val's brother Maksim Chmerkovskiy and his partner Meryl Davis also faced the same rumors due to their chemistry as well. The said pair ended up winning the season, but did not become a real life couple in the end.

Despite the rumors, Parrish and Chmerkovskiy are unlikely to be more than just dance partners, since Parrish already has a boyfriend.

Parrish's boyfriend is a Los Angeles-based actor, singer and songwriter named Payson Lewis.

Lewis does not appear to be bothered by the rumors between his girlfriend and her dancing partner, since he was seen supporting the pair by watching the show live, and posting pictures of them on Instagram.

Lewis even shared photos with captions "Here's to the one I love; my inspiration, my best friend" and "Today is your day @janelparrish Now go kick some a**! #yougotthis #DWTS."
