Jamie Grace's 'Hold Me' Single Goes Gold; Singer Appears on 'Power of She' to Discuss Tourette Syndrome (VIDEO)

Jamie Grace's song "Hold Me" featuring TobyMac went Gold certified, selling 500,000 singles.

The young artist is only one of four female Christian artists to get a Gold single, and she will also become the first Christian artist to appear on a 7UP can. Getting on the 7UP can was a fan voted process at the K-LOVE Fan Awards. A download code for a free song will be listed on the can.

Just last week Grace appeared on a "Power of She" segment for HLN's Morning Express with Robin Meade to discuss Tourette Syndrome Awareness Month, and her battle with the illness.

Recently Grace revealed her mother's illness on the ImAFighter.org blog.

"Over the last 5 years my mom has faced various health challenges and last year was diagnosed with a rare condition called pudendal neuralgia," and "As a result of her condition she began struggling with every day tasks some as simple as walking or sitting up" she explained.

Grace went on in depth about the changes her mom has had to make. "As a manager in the music industry and a pastor alongside my dad she began working primarily from home and making adjustments as to not overwork herself however if you've ever met my mom (or me, the jr version) then you know that's a challenge."

Grace was nominated for "Female Artist of the Year" at the K-LOVE Awards, but ultimately lost to Mandisa.
