Jackie Chan Dead...Again? Star to Attend Kung Fu Competition in Madagascar

Jackie Chan went through a death hoax in June and apparently someone on Twitter started another hoax again that Chan fell while doing his own stunts in an upcoming action scene.

While Chan is well known for doing his own stunts, this is again false and Chan is fine. Last time, he took pictures and posted them with the current date on a newspaper to let everyone know that he was officially OK. Along with the picture he wrote, "These few years, there have repeatedly been false news which has caused my fans and friends who care about me, to worry if I am dead! If I am really dead, I will definitely announce it."

Chan has made no official statement yet debunking this latest death hoax about him.

In other REAL news, Jackie Chan will be attending the kung fu competition, The Kung Fu Wushu African Cup, in September. The competition is held in Antananarivo, Madagascar this year and the contestants of this competition all admire Chan and his career as actor and fighting legend.

Jose Ramaherison, Master Gao, of the Malagasy Federation said, "Madagascar has been making a lot of effort to host the African Cup since 2009. The dream will finally come true this year."

The competition takes place September 5-10th, 2013.
