J.K. Rowling Released Murder Mystery under 'Robert Galbraith', authorship mystery is solved
J.K. Rowling, the critically acclaimed author of the world's most favorite wizard, Harry Potter, has been up to nothing but mischief, again.
Rowling, in her great art of fabrication and story telling, created a fictional person, complete with bio, to pen her new book, "The Cuckoo's Calling" under. Rowling created the man, Robert Galbraith, because she wanted to see if she could break into a new genre without the fame of her name open in doors for her.
Galbraith, Rowling's new face, is described as a former member of the Special Investigatve Branch of the Royal Military Policy, which would make since why he was publishing a detective novel. The novel has already gained recognition and acclaim, so the answer is , "yes", Rowling is a historic novel regardless of genre.
"I hoped to keep this secret a little longer because being Robert Galbraith has been such a liberating experience," Rowling said in a press release on Sunday,"It has been wonderful to publish without hype or expectation, and pure pleasure to get feedback from publishers and readers under a different name."
"The Cuckoo's Calling", is a curvaceous story about a veteran who became a private investigator after a war. The investigator beings to look into the death of a model.
The Sunday Times began investigating the authorship of the novel after suspicions where raised on "how a first-time author with a background in the army and the civilian security industry could write such an assured debut novel".
"And to those who have asked for a sequel, Robert fully intends to keep writing the series, although he will probably continue to turn down personal appearances." Rowling said.
