iPod Touch 6G Release Date: Arriving With iPad Mini 3 and iPad Air 2 on September 2014?
Even as the launch of iOS draws closer, more and more reports regarding the release of the iPod Touch 6G continue to surface on the Internet. One report in iPhones Review suggests that the release of the next generation iPod may coincide with the launch of iPad Mini 3 and iPad Air 2.
On the other hand, a number of tech fans believe that Apple will launch iPod Touch 6G in September along with the Cupertino-headquartered tech titan's upcoming iPhone 6.
Meanwhile, latest reports hint that the iPod Touch 6G, along with the next generation Apple tablets will be arriving in October, when the company organizes it iPad event. Citing the possibility of rescheduling the release of iPod Touch 6G, iPhones Review noted, "Apple likes to keep the spotlight on their new iPhone models in September, and of course the iOS 8 public release will feature as well."
It is expected that the iPod Touch 6G will feature the latest operating system from Apple - the iOS 8, which is scheduled to be available sometime during 2014 fall, in all probability much ahead of the launch of the iPhone 6. It is also expected that all the upcoming devices from Apple, including the iPod Touch 6G, iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 will feature at least one aspect of the iOS 8 - the Touch ID.
In fact, the Touch ID is Apple's fingerprint recognition tool that serves as an additional security feature as well as a convenience option for the user.
Meanwhile, Apple fans are eager to know about the features the upcoming iOS media player will have since it is an iOS model and which is being launched next month.
